NATO pilot reported a 'triangular and metallic UAP' at 25,000 ft over the Mediterranean. Object hovered motionless for 4 minutes then accelerated to beyond sensor range instantaneously.
A DoD AARO report documents a NATO pilot's encounter with a triangular, metallic UAP at 25,000 feet over the central Mediterranean Sea. The pilot, supported by a wingman, observed the object hovering motionless for approximately 4 minutes before attempting to approach. Upon approach, the object accelerated to beyond the sensor range of the aircraft within less than one second — effectively instantaneous acceleration with no detectable thrust or exhaust signature. The object was highly reflective with a smooth metallic surface and showed defined geometric edges consistent with manufactured construction. AARO's technical review estimates the instantaneous acceleration would require forces exceeding 700G. No known propulsion system can produce this performance profile.
This incident is documented in file DOD-001 released under the PURSUE Initiative on May 8, 2026. The original document, with any remaining redactions, is publicly available at the U.S. Department of War's official UAP portal.

MATCH MY SIGHTINGPhotograph shows three dots in triangular formation in the lunar sky. Harrison Schmitt reported a flash north of Grimaldi crater. NASA's assessment: 'no consensus about the nature'. Photographs not included in original public mission archives.
Internal military memo describes 'one possible small UAP' operating near US military assets in Iraq at ~80,000 ft altitude. Performed maneuvers inconsistent with any known aerial vehicle.
An ellipsoid bronze metallic object, 130–195 feet in length, materialized from a bright light and disappeared instantaneously. Rated among the most extraordinary events in the PURSUE release.
